Vertical Blinds

A vertical blind consists of vertical lengths of fabric which are clipped to a sliding trace at the top and have either a chain or plastic wand to operate them.

The lengths of fabric, (also called slats or louvres) have weights at the bottom.

This prevents the slats bunching up and gives an even ‘spread’ of the blind louvres.

Vertical blinds can also be fully pulled back if needed or have even spaces in between each louvre. They can be tilted on an angle or completely closed for privacy yet still allowing in some natural light if needed.

Vertical blinds are used in many rooms although they are great for larger window sizes as they can be made to fit any length and width.
They are also great for sloped windows or windows that have half-way openings.

Also, conservatories and similar rooms look great with vertical blinds.

Vertical blinds have lots of different design options.

They can be cleaned with a damp cloth and don’t collate the dust the same as other blind designs.

Available in a number of finishes and designs that will appeal to a wide range of tastes and preferences.
